Privacy Policy

How AXK Network handles personal data, corporate telemetry, and trade verification records across our global operations.

Effective Date: October 2026

Data controller: Afrikabal Inc. (Delaware C-Corporation headquartered in Dover, Delaware, with an operating office in London, United Kingdom (Afrikabal UK Limited) and operations in Kenya (Afrikabal Kenya Ltd) and Rwanda (Afrikabal Rwanda Ltd)). For privacy inquiries or rights requests, contact info@axk.org.

1. Scope and Controller

This Privacy Policy describes how Afrikabal Inc. ("AXK Network", "we", "our", or "us"), headquartered in Dover, Delaware, with operating entities including Afrikabal UK Limited (London, UK), Afrikabal Kenya Ltd (Nairobi, Kenya), and Afrikabal Rwanda Ltd (Kigali, Rwanda), collects, uses, and safeguards personal and operational data when you visit our website (axk.org) or interact with our trade verification and settlement infrastructure.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information necessary to deliver enterprise commodity verification, compliance evidence packaging, and settlement orchestration: • Contact and Representative Information: Name, work email address, phone number, role, and employer name submitted via inquiry forms or partner registration. • Counterparty & KYB Telemetry: Corporate entity filings, director and beneficial ownership details, sanctions and AML/CFT screening metadata collected pursuant to legal obligations. • Trade & Verification Data: Geolocation of production plots or mine sites, consignment identifiers, inspection certificates, bills of lading, and custodian transfer records. • Technical & Audit Logs: Cryptographic hashes, append-only system interaction logs, IP addresses, browser user-agents, and timestamped API telemetry for security and fraud prevention.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)

We process data under recognized legal grounds: • Performance of a Contract: To execute verification workflows, orchestrate payment instructions, and administer client accounts. • Legal and Regulatory Obligations: Compliance with anti-money laundering (AML), countering the financing of terrorism (CFT), sanctions screening, and statutory trade regulations (such as EUDR, CSDDD, and CBAM). • Legitimate Interests: Operating secure infrastructure, detecting fraudulent transactions, and ensuring network integrity. • Consent: Where explicitly granted by counterparties for sharing specific evidence packs with designated third-party buyers, banks, or insurers.

4. Consent-Gated Evidence Sharing

AXK Network does not sell or broker personal or trade data. Verification evidence packs (including plot coordinates, quality assays, and custody attestations) are disclosed to downstream counterparties (such as buyers, financing banks, and customs authorities) strictly on a consented, scoped basis. Counterparties retain audit logs detailing which entities accessed specific trade records and can revoke future access permissions.

5. Licensed Financial Institutions & Service Providers

Regulated services, including multi-currency account hosting, cross-border payment rails, foreign exchange conversion, corporate card issuance, and trade finance lending, are provided by independent licensed partner banks, payment institutions, and mobile money operators under their respective regulatory licenses and privacy notices. AXK Network provides the verified orchestration record and transmits instructions as a technology platform.

6. Security & Cryptographic Anchoring

All communication is secured with TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 at rest. Access controls enforce the principle of least privilege, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and segregation of duties. Where cryptographic anchoring or notarization occurs on public distributed ledgers (e.g., Stellar or XRPL), only irreversible mathematical hashes of documents or state roots are anchored; private commercial terms and personal data remain strictly off-chain.

7. Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain trade verification records and compliance evidence packs for the periods mandated by applicable statutory trade, tax, and anti-money laundering laws (typically 5 to 7 years post-settlement). Subject to jurisdiction, you possess the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of personal information, or object to processing. To exercise your rights, contact our Data Governance Officer at info@axk.org.
