What is AXK Network?+
AXK is financial infrastructure for commodity trade across the Global South. It turns a documented physical trade into a verified record, executable payment obligations and portable evidence, so producers, traders, buyers, banks and insurers act on the same facts.
Which commodities do you support?+
Agricultural produce such as coffee, cocoa, tea, cashew, grains and oilseeds; metals and minerals such as copper, cobalt, gold and lithium; and energy products and inputs such as refined fuels, LPG and fertiliser. Each commodity has its own specification, inspection and evidence rules.
Is AXK a bank?+
No. AXK is a technology platform of Afrikabal Inc. Accounts, payments, FX, cards and finance are provided by licensed partner institutions under their own licences. AXK provides the verified record, the controls and the orchestration around them.
How does AXK make payment faster?+
Payment conditions are agreed in the contract and checked against verified evidence as it arrives: inspection, custody, shipping documents and compliance checks. When the conditions are met, the payment instruction is released to the licensed provider immediately instead of waiting on couriers, email chains and manual reconciliation.
Which compliance requirements can AXK help with?+
AXK provides evidence and controls for EUDR, CSDDD, Germany's LkSG, the EU Forced Labour Regulation and US UFLPA, the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation and OECD minerals guidance, LBMA and RMI standards, CBAM, AML/CFT and sanctions screening, ICC rules for letters of credit and collections, electronic trade documents, phytosanitary and origin certificates, ISO 20022 and data protection. Each regulated party stays responsible for its own filings.
What does the account offer include?+
Multi-currency business accounts with local collection details, FX at quoted rates, supplier and producer payouts, corporate cards and statements tied to each trade, provided through licensed partner banks. Availability depends on the market and on eligibility checks.
How are producers, workers and suppliers paid?+
Proceeds are allocated to the cent against a locked beneficiary list, then paid by bank transfer, mobile money such as M-Pesa or MTN MoMo, or card, through licensed providers. Each payment is tracked to final receipt and reconciled against the provider's records.
What happens if a payment times out or fails?+
A timeout is treated as uncertain, never as a failure. AXK queries the original provider and reconciles statements before anything else happens, so a payment is never sent twice. Only a confirmed failure can be retried, and every step is recorded.
Who can see our data?+
Each party sees only what its role allows. Evidence is shared with buyers, banks, insurers or authorities by consent, with an access log, an expiry and the ability to revoke it. Personal data is handled under GDPR, UK GDPR and local data-protection law.
Do you use blockchain or stablecoins?+
Our ledger and reconciliation do not depend on any blockchain. Stablecoin settlement, such as USDC, is one of several rails we route to where a licensed partner and local regulation permit. Minimal integrity references can be anchored publicly; commercial and personal data stay off-chain.
How do lenders use AXK for trade finance?+
With the borrower's consent, lenders receive an evidence pack: contracts fulfilled, inspections, custody records, warehouse receipts, collateral-manager attestations and settled payment history. They verify it independently and make their own credit decision.
How do banks and payment providers integrate?+
Through documented APIs, signed webhooks and ISO 20022-aligned payment instructions and status messages. KYB, beneficial ownership and screening records are attached to each counterparty.
Where do you operate?+
Afrikabal Inc. is headquartered in Dover, Delaware, with an operating office in the United Kingdom and operations in Nairobi, Kenya and Kigali, Rwanda. We support trade corridors across Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East with their buyers in Europe, North America and Asia.
How much does it cost?+
Pricing combines a platform fee with per-transaction fees, agreed per contract and shaped by commodity, corridor and settlement route. Bank, FX and provider charges are always itemised separately.
